In 1992, GDW published Dark Races Volume I, a compendium of creatures for our valiant Minion Hunters to face.  One interesting thing about this book is the format in which it was presented: the creatures and accompanying art were contributed by many different writers and artists.  Alas, GDW never created the obvious follow-up volume.

I would like this page to ultimately serve as a fan-supported compendium of beasties and bad-asses. Click on "Submit a Creature" anywere on this page to find out how you can contribute original creatures from your games.

Beasties

As the Dark Conspiracy book points out, these creatures can't quite be called animals, since many of them might be plants, or mechanical in nature. Essentially in game terms, Beasties are creatures without Intelligence. They react more on instinct or programming than any inherent evil.

Darklings

These beings are minions of the Dark Lords. They are the Dark equivalents of humanity, in that they have fully defined attributes such as Intelligence, Education, Charisma and Empathy.

Dark Lords

These are the architects of the the Dark Conspiracy. These beings are few in number, but awesome in power and their capacity for evil.

NPC's

Sometimes, the GM will have an NPC who grows beyond the simple function of background noise for the adventure. Sometimes they take on lives of their own, and become akin to the GM's "character" in the game. With so much invested in these characters, it seems a shame that they be relegated to only one game.

Minion Hunter Cells

Recently the question ran through one of the Dark Conspiracy news groups about party composition. All the GM's responded with the generic makeup of their groups. I started thinking, wouldn't it be great to compile that list in a single place?
